Ha muerto con 95 años Budd Schulberg, escritor de «¿Por qué corre Sammy?» y guionista de «La ley del silencio», «Un rostro en la multitud» y «Más dura será la caída». Ya quedan muy pocos fabuladores de la época del blanco y negro. Lástima, porque en estos tiempos de CGI y 3D, son ellos los que de nuevo pueden marcar la diferencia entre el cine anecdótico y superficial y el que nos golpea con un uppercut.

Budd Schulberg, author of «What Makes Sammy Run?» and screenwriter of «On the Waterfront», «A Face in the Crowd» and «The Harder They Fall». He was 95 years old. Are now very few writers of B&W era. Como curiosidad, la estupenda voz de Meiko ha sido utilizada como parte del banco vocal para el programa de sintetización VOCALOID creado por Yamaha y cuya función actual es, gracias a Zero-G Limited y Crypton, la creación de «personajes» virtuales que reproducen las letras que introducimos en este software actualmente utilizado en el anime.
