Well, that’s it. It’s been nearly a year and this guy comes back to remind us that we must love each other and be good and in return he will leave a gift under a plastic tree or (beacon) full of lights or, a little reluctantly, near a stage with figures in different scales and with a river of aluminum foil and, of course, more lights. And we turn on these lights every before, as if they represented the illusion that all is fine and  it will be better next year, knowing that when we turn off we were alone and there is no help or a fat man looking up the chimney, a hole that otherwise we may not have, but makes up in spades with the hole of our mortgages. Anyway, happy holidays to all who have visited or will visit 6dilly4dally, hope next year we can loosen the belt a little … Ho, ho, ho.

Bueno, ya está. Ya ha pasado casi un año y este tipo importado viene de nuevo a recordarnos que tenemos que querernos y ser buenos y a cambio nos dejará un regalo debajo de un árbol o baliza de plástico con lucecitas o, un poco a regañadientes, cerca de un escenario con figuritas en diferentes escalas y con un río de papel aluminio y, por supuesto más lucecitas. Y nosotros cada vez encendemos antes estas lucecitas, como si representaran la ilusión de que todo va bien y que nos va a ir mejor el año que viene, a sabiendas de que cuando las apagamos quedamos sólo nosotros y no hay ayuda que valga ni un tipo saldrá de la chimenea, un agujero que por otra parte probablemente no tengamos, aunque lo compensemos con creces con el agujero de nuestras hipotecas. En fin, y a pesar de todo, felices fiestas a todos los que han visitado, visitan o visitarán 6dilly4dally y que el año que viene nos podamos aflojar un poquito el cinturón… Ho, ho, ho.
