Hablando de fosforescencia, aquí va un vídeo de la preciosa canción «Wolves» de «Phosphorescent», la banda unipersonal de Matthew Houck.

El períodico británico, «The Guardian», está publicando un pequeño curso para conocer los gestos españoles y su significado. A través de ilustraciones muy bien ejecutadas, los foráneos pueden gesticular, por ejemplo, «estar a dos velas» (que, por cierto, es un gesto que uno ve frecuentemente en estos tiempos de crisis). Como siempre, una imagen vale más que mil palabras.

The British newspaper «The Guardian», is releasing a short course to learn Spanish gestures and their meanings. Me encanta el estilo «popsicodélico» de esta famosa peli, y el número del título de la canción es el mismo que en 6dilly4dally. Ojalá yo, cuando llegue a esa edad, tenga tan buen aspecto como el personaje animado de Ringo.

I love the «popsychedelic» style of this famous animation, and the number of the song tittle is the same than in 6dilly4dally. I wish that when I reach that age, look as good as the Ringo’s cartoon.

Matias Adolfsson es un fantástico ilustrador al que se le ocurrió la brillante idea de trasladar algunos de los escenarios y personajes de Star Wars al Barroco. Por mi parte, intenté hacerle una reverencia, pero no me dio tiempo y me quedé como puede verse en la imagen: congelado en carbonita.

Matias Adolfsson is a fantastic illustrator who is came up with the brilliant idea of transferring some of the scenes and characters from Star Wars to the Baroque. I tried to make a bow, but did not give me time and I was petrified as shown in the image «frozen in carbonite«.

La Pantera Rosa ya apareció una vez en este blog. Ahora la vuelvo a traer motorizada, en su alucinante coche rosa que envidiábamos todos los que disfrutamos en su día del show televisivo. Por cierto que Friz Freleng, creador de este felino animado, también es el autor de otro corto de la Warner, protagonizado por el canario Piolín y el gato Silvestre «Birds Anonymous» (ambos personajes los creó el mismo) que ganó el Oscar. Espero que disfrutéis de los dos vídeos.

Pink Panther has appeared once on this blog. I bring back in its hallucinating pink car that envy all who enjoyed the TV show. Indeed, Friz Freleng, creator of the animated feline, is also the author of another short-Warner, led by the canary Tweety and Sylvester the cat «Birds Anonymous» (both characters was created by himself) that won the Oscar. I hope you will enjoy these two videos.

Os recomiendo que visitéis la web «Coraline» en la que podréis, entre otras cosas, crear vuestra propia flor o elegir qué botones sustituirían mejor a vuestros ojos para vivir en el otro mundo sin desentonar demasiado. Una web hecha con tanto cariño como la película. Yo mismo me atreví a pasar por la pequeña puerta y… duele sólo al principio.
